Mark has been creating musical landscapes for films and video since the age of 13. He created his first composition by writing a computer program on Commodore 64 computer. Since then, he has continued to compose and perform music using the latest technology as well as traditional instruments, such as guitar and bass. Consequently, his compositions are an edgy concoction of the synthetic and the organic.

Mark creates bizarre soundscapes, ambient sounds and effects that normally wouldn’t be in the realm of a score. To create the eerie sound design in Dark Remains, Mark used a bizarre blend of electric guitars, drums, synthesizers, nature sounds, and his own voice, all processed through special computer software which he created.

Mark created the award-winning scores for Avenet Images' previous films COLD BLOOD and GHOST OF THE NEEDLE.
